This work reflects on diasporic identity through a layered collage of Iraqi and British Iraqi cultural references. The visual interruption, inspired by pop art aesthetics, represents a sense of disconnection shaped by language barriers and cultural distance. At the same time, the composition acknowledges the growing presence of British Iraqi artists, suggesting both the challenges and potential of navigating hybrid cultural identities within contemporary pop culture.
