In Sarawak, two fairy princesses, Puteri Santubong and Puteri Sejinjang, pledged to the king of Fairyland never to fight each other. Santubong was tasked with overseeing Pasir Kuning and excelled at weaving, while Sejinjang was in charge of Pasir Putih and specialized in rice cultivation. However, both sisters fell in love with Putera Serapi of Matang, leading to a heated argument and the breaking of their promise. In his fury, the king cursed the sisters, transforming them into mountains amidst thunder and lightning.
